Abolys is a webcomic I started back in 2015. I originally created it for publication on the Webtoon site, which had recently, at the time, opened up to user submitted creations, having previously been just a site publishing English translations of their original Korean series, I think? Don’t quote me on that.

I was a fan of some of their original series such as Tower of God and The God of High School, which is what partly motivated me to start my own. There also may have been a competition at the time. This also influenced the mobile oriented format and calling the chapters episodes.

Given the most recent chapter is from 2016, this series is obviously on hold for now. I did start the third chapter and had a lot of it already sketched out, I just never finished it. I Do still have plans and ideas for where I intended the story to go, I have a lot written and sketched down, so I may continue it, though at this point it may be worth just rebooting it, as I feel my art has changed quite a lot since the last entry and there is a lot I’d like to change about these early chapters.

It can be quite cringy at times. I think it’s interesting to see my early comic work though.
