Hi there!
My name is Riley, I go by Rilenz online, though I can't remember why.
I was born in Australia in May, 1996; I am currently 27 years old.

I have a big interest in illustration, anime/manga, games and cartoons. My art style has been greatly influenced.

I've loved drawing ever since I can remember; whether it was sketching in a sketchbook, doodling in the margins of school books or trying to copy cool art I found, it's just something I've always enjoyed.

A career? At first I thought about book illustration, then maybe a comic book artist. Something I didn't consider until later was a character designer, for things like games and animation. Which would be great.

I attended University from 2016-2018, graduating in 2019 with a Bachelor of Design (Illustration and Animation). It was a cool experience where I met some great people and got to learn some things I didn't know much about previously. While there, some of my favourite classes were life drawing; it was really helpful for understanding the human body more.

One thing I'd only dabbled in previously was animation, but while there I did a 2D animation course where I learned a lot. Animation can be time-consuming, but the end result is always really cool.

Recently I've found a job that isn't exactly art related, but it has allowed me some creative opportunities, such as logo animation and video editing, but I'm always looking to dive into a job with even more creative fulfilment.
