Inktober is a month long drawing challenge started by the artist Jake Parker.

A list of drawing prompts is created each year, with the daily goal of creating an ink drawing for each prompt throughout the month of October.

I believe the intent was to help improve ones inking skills in this age of digital art.

Though it’s just a challenge for fun, no hard and set rules.
